Created a thread for everyone that can be used to discuss dedicated gaming, settings, questions, etc. for the 2025 LG serie. Again this is just for GAMING to help keep the owners thread more focused on the TV as a whole. I'm extremely active on this forum in general so I will reserve the next...
Click to expand... A good joke (or nice try) on how to showcase black levels on OLED displays however it seems a bit unnecessary these days, considering most content already looks pretty solid. What really matters is checking out the HDR highlights – both bright and dark – because OLED displays can vary in how they handle them.
So I'm swapping out my AVM 90 and replacing it with a JBL SDP-58. I thought it might be best to start an new thread for what I learn and my comparisons of the 2 units, otherwise I'll just contaminate the other threads. I'm just getting started today with the swap. Pulled the Anthem out of my...
Last year, Sony broke new ground by introducing its first QD OLED television, the A95K, which set a high bar in terms of both visual quality and technology for the company's OLED lineup. It garnered attention and raised expectations for what could come next. This year, Sony is now releasing the...

I don't want to contact sony , this is an out of warranty panel and they might quote me a stiff cost for panel replacement (apart from the risk of losing the professional calibration done on the tv). I'll initiate the manual panel refresh once to see if it helps any.

All OLEDs can handle SDR content in terms of brightness. HDR doesn’t mean much, but if you are pinning it down to whats available today, it is exclusively 4k source material because it is a 10bit rec 2020 ...
